Re banner pic:
Like the green glow, magenta hair, the skin shading and that nice blue background. The flower looks just right also.
Nice face and closed eyes.

Yes, I did watch the animation. I wanted to comment on the banner pic first because I really liked the blue background, which is emphasized in that composition by its relative extent, as is the flower.
I'll comment on the rest but it takes more time as there are three pics.
It's also interesting how there's so much of a difference because the blue and the flower take on more importance in the banner pic. In fact the animation version crops down on the banner.

Re the animation itself, I found the second pic most interesting in terms of what I thought I saw.

The cyan sky seems to work very well because is goes better than blue with the green and yellow-green sail. The sail colors are in contrast to the reddish bikini. So the sail blends with the sky and contrasts the bikini.

It's also interesting how the golden hair blends with the yellowish sail and stands out vs. the sky; the same is true for the flesh, her right arm stands out strongly, the left stands out less vs. the sail.

The yellow ropes stand out well, but might be distracting against blue.
The magenta butterfly seems to need the lightened cyan sky behind it.

Anyway, that's my two cents.

I'll comment on Careless Whisper later, maybe with a little less presumptuous, insufferable analysis.
